back in my previous company I know almost all the admin accounts...
here they are expecting me to investigate something in production..
without giving any accounts, even a READ-ONLY account...
common!.. the first step in resolving an issue is to verify them..
via back-end.. maybe the user is just plainly stupid..
maybe he's just using a messed up PS query :P
maybe he's wrong/right the DB knows the answer....

How can you replicate the scenario where all you can do is to imagine what the user had done...

The day starts with preparing my stuffs around 7 am...
8:30 is the official start of work...
since it's only 15 minutes travel time between home and work..
so i kinda leave the house around 8 am...
doesn't really bring anything when i go to work..
even my wallet i leave it on the house..

that I usually carry to work..
Keys - key to office, key to the house
Bus/MRT card (blue) - it has a load of $50, and that will be gud enough for 1 month of bus ride.
EP card (green) - the employment pass card in SG, can't leave w/out it..
Access card (white) - access card in the office
$3+ - yup i can last the day with less than $4 :P

As soon as I got in the office, I first go to the convenient store..
to grab some diet milk :P
it's only $0.97..


to go with the milk will be some kind of bread :)
hey! we need some carbo in our body :P



after munching my b-fast...

.. and at the same day filed my resignation...

3. How do you feel?
--Felt great!... in vernocular... feeling JSE..
it's been a while since I felt this excitement in my life..
the feeling of unknown.. new environment.. new peers...
pretty nervous but absolutelly excited....

4. What do you think this project should improve into...
-- Hmmm.... i don't think there's any just a minor greed in power..
but hey! it's normal.. actually it looking pretty good...

It's our project's UAT(User Acceptance Test)/Performance Test..
so everyone seems jumpy and on their toes.....

Since I'm basically waiting for my counterpart's GO signal...
so I'm sort of preparing everything...
and I saw this newbie...
it's his 1st time being Primary Oncall in our project..
and it seems like everything is going good in his Oncall duty...

As adviced by the DBAs I re-ran the interface...
after 3 hours again....
guess what it FAILED.....

TABLESPACE ISSUE IT'S ALREADY FULL!!!


I left everything to my US counterpart..
for resolution...
