Chinese New Year... Singapore Edition...

First time to celebrate CNY in here...
I really expected a lot.. since majority of peeps
in here are in Chinese decent...

hmmm... I was thinking..
this would be a great even in SG...
annoying dragon dance practice being held
in our block almost everyday..
it's a public holiday from Feb 7-8.. nice... no work :P

But yesterday Feb 7... damn!....
seems like a typical weekday in SG...
except for the closed establishments (malls/stores) :(
no choice that to stuck your but in the apt..
and try to burn some time..
watching movies.. browsing the web or channel surfing...

Today.. Feb 8...
woke-up through the beat of drums...
I was like... DAMN!! this must be it.. :P
rushed through the window..
coming fresh from the bed..
it seems like I was gang-raped by a batallion of bayots (plural :P)
All I saw was 2 dragons walking down the street a single drum..
and 5 street kids following them :P
and I was like... then THAT's IT????
CRAP!!... CNY IN CHINATOWN IS A LOT BETTER THAN HERE...
AND EVEN LENTEN SEASON IN PH IS A LOT MORE EXCITING
THAT THESE PIECE OD CRAP :P
